Description

To bring chaos to order, i posted a picture out of order, this is due to the fact that its the most important picture I think I have posted.

Yes trainspotters of the world, thats right the first shot of a DB Schenker new liveried train in the UK to be posted on DA.

This was recently painted, one of two Class 37s to receive the new livery.

This is a DB Schenker Class 37 "37670 St Blazey T&RS" and "37401" (In EWS Livery).

This is truly a epic moment taken 49 minutes ago on the WCML.

I believe its Mission Complete!

With over 40 years, and nearly 50 years under their belt, the Class 37 in the UK has become one of the most iconic locos of the post modernisation era. Despite this, their new owners at this present time, DB Schenker, believed in forming a unified fleet of comparatively rubbish locomotives (namely the Class 66 *shudder*) and therefore sights like this have become almost non existant as DB scraps everything older and British for newer and American built units. Just no...

In order to preserve the sight of the Class 37 in service with DBS, robertbeardwell has captured this sight of two such locomotives on one of their last tours before DBS withdrew them all, in perfect sunlight from a classic but great angle. Such images will go down in history, and Robert has done an excellent job in capturing this. Long live the Tractor, boo to DB...
